HI All!
Just wondering who made it to the Action for Children (NCH) reunion in Watford?  How was it?  Who was there?  Pictures? Anything!  Was it as good (or better) than last year's?   Curious minds want to know.  And I've already done enough begging about the Highfield reunion, heaven knows.  Come on folks, tell us poor souls who are languishing in distant lands, how it all was!

About the same as last year, plenty of info from Action For Children about the matters they are currently doing and info on the current leaders of "The Firm".
Good range of person from a couple of other branches, but not many from Harpenden as the days events are rather too formal for Harpo's way of life.
Assortment of lunch time food and plenty of strawberries & cream for tea.
To and from the station by free mini bus for those that did not have a car.
Met up with a girl who in 1965 told Sister Pearl she wanted to marry me when she got older, seems she is now married.........
Boo Ho, and I've stayed single, waiting for those 29ths of Feb when a man can be proposed to....

Strawberries and cream teas

Hi Philip,
THanks for the report on the Watford event.  Having not been there yet, it's a bit harder for me to imagine--but the strawberries and cream teas would be worth the try!  :-)
And then, of course, the chance to meet up with some of those lovely people from Harrogate!  I wonder if we'll hear from any of them?  :-)
Glad you got to meet a former admirer, Philip!
Best to all and enjoy the rest of the summer, wherever you are,
Shelagh, who is loving retirement!
